Melt It!

I have been here a few time now and I would come more often if I lived closer. I had the Pulled Pork Mac and cheese sandwich and it was delicious. It was so cheesy and the pulled pork had a great taste. I also had the Deep fried peanut butter and Jelly sandwich. That hit the sweet spot. @raulvsfood

Some of their menu items are a little pricey but everything I've tried so far has been super delicious so I guess that's what really matters aha. I'd recommend their deep fried nutella sandwich it's the perfect dessert for two

This place is great when it comes to price portion and service. But Grilled Cheese, not so much.I order a Philly which comes in a baguette and not even a grilled baguette just a plain baguette. I don't think baguette when I think Grilled cheese. So My order was just a sandwich which was not quite what I wanted when I walked into a grilled cheese place. I'm with Kat one visit was enough for me. I won't be going out of my way to eat here again.

I had the melt it fries. I forgot to ask them to put the thousand Island dressing on the side. It was good anyway. The Mac and Cheese sandwich was good but this time I had them add carmelized onions and tomato to it. Wow. The tomato basil soup is very fresh and very good

We rode out from Ventura County to try Melt It out. We were not disappointed. My fiance had the Swissted with it's menagerie of cheeses and I had the Cheesiest Mac & Cheese with pulled pork added. Well worth the trip! Bonus that parking is in the rear with above and underground. We will definitely be back!

Sandwiches were tasty. They have many offerings...hard choices!

The menu and service were ahead of my expectations. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere of this spot. Excellent place to take the family out for dinner.

The sandwiches were just okay. The Philly Cheese steak one was pretty bland. The fried chicken one was fairly tasty but needed some sort of spice to wake it up a little. But I did enjoy the view from the outside tables of the mountain!

I love getting their mac and cheese side portion when I don't have enough time for more than a quick bite. Today I got the mac and cheese sandwich with pulled pork - delicious, and it will make two meals.

Food was great, staff was friendly and food came out quickly. Got the Philly cheese steak and the Mac and cheese with pulled pork. Portions are pretty big, got full with half and tool the rest home.

Trying to find new places around Pasadena, stumbled around this place. Really cool vibes, sandwiches tasted great. I had the black jack and my girlfriend tried the caprese which seems to be a place favorite. $31 with two drinks is a decent price.

They have Groupon deals every once in a while, which makes it worth it. I got the Cheesiest Mac & Cheese grilled cheese with pulled pork add-on and the Loaded Fries. The grilled cheese was really dry, could be used more cheese. The loaded fries, similar to In-N-Out animal style fries, is huge; I recommend sharing these with someone. Overall, A-Ok in my book.

Best to stick with the grilled cheese style sandwiches. I had the Carolina and it came on a submarine style bread. Was really expecting everything was on sliced bread to maximize the grilled sides. The Carolina with pulled pork was ok. Overall it was a bit dry. Others in my party had the more traditional grilled cheese style sandwiches and those were good.

Got myself a Swissd sandwich with swiss, pepperjack, and havarti on thick buttered white bread and it was really good. The fries are twice fried and really crispy too. The portions on the fries are huge. They have other sandwiches which are more complex but I just wanted to try the basics first. I'd go back and try some more of the menu again.

2nd visit was a repeat of yummy love! The on-site handmade potato chips are addicting.

Yum yummy!! If you're feeling cheesy and decadent THIS is the place (also there are often Groupons to lighten the load in your wallet). Don't miss the Mac n cheese grilled cheese with pulled pork, and IF you have room for dessert (ha ha ha), go for the grilled pb&j.

Sweet potato fries and yummy cheesy sandwiches make this a good spot for a quick bite.

the cheese was melted really well, so I do like the melted fries. however the sandwich was meh, you can't really taste the Mac n cheese inside, more like a dough that I bit through. the pork I added doesn't really help either. oh and I had fried Oreo, which I must say tasted pretty good. definitely need some water on the side since it's so sweet. service was OK, kinda like a fast food place.bottomline:wouldn't recommend if you're visiting LA for the first time. but if you live around this area and loves cheese, then sure.
